Not really a tutorial so much as an admonition not to put the tapes on too tightly. Well and the suggestion to try to test their stretchiness and rebound. But I still need to know how to put these tapes on wher the diaper will feel like its snug enough not to fall off.
I will admit though, that while I can get the diaper to fit ok without any ripping. A tedious day at work squatting, bending over, and lifting things does its toll on the tapes cuz I had one rip. The design and concept is great but the system is not up to the qaulity it was most likely anticipated to be. Tapes have to be moddified in my final opinion.
Agreed matt…if the reinforced them this diaper would be perfect no question
Iv got it, they could atach the tape derectly to the plastic basicly like the old ones but with a fold in the plastic so that if the ruber part does break it still has a back up
I pretty much told them the tapes are a no-go for me. I did follow the tutorial and removed the landing strips. That seems to help a bit, likely because the main tapes have more adhesive and don’t walk loose as easily. But I still find I HAVE to wear something over these for support, even when unused.
hey can u email me back plzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz my email is again imvryfunny123@aim.com
Tried a new ‘trick’. I left the blue “landing stip” on the wing and separated the tape from the landing strip. The landing strip top side (side tape attaches to) has a bit of glue/ stickiness. Taped down to front of diaper…thus I effectively get twice the taped area- from the end of the tape back to the end of the blue part on the wing. This only works if you are small enough that the tape area on the back wing reaches the front wing. Anyway, I’ve only done this once so far and it seems to have worked. But then, only the top tapes were giving me grief. “Your Mileage May Vary.” 😉
How have you been enjoying your new bambinos, by the way? I wanna get Haley some.
I’ve finally decided that these tapes gotta go
have you ever tride useing a public canging table like the ones in stories
Im glad to hear the opinions from those who have actually tried the Teddys. As of yet i will wait till they improve them and then wait for your opinions and then buy some.
No matter what brand of diaper i wear, ive always worn a belt. Sure some tapes can take more of a strain than others, but a belt has always helped for as long as i can tell.
Greetings. It’s been two weeks since the most recent post, so I sincerely hope that everything is OK on your end. Be well, stay well and may peace be yours as long as you desire.
Yesterday all four tapes broke, not just pulled lose! I didn’t stretch the elastic part of the tape at all when I put them on. I tried taping over the broken pieces and the tape pulled lose also, but it was old bandage tape. When I got home I used four pieces of duct tape which solved the problem!
They need to do something about this before I order anymore of them.
new teddy diapers are not what they seem to be new tabs fall off diapers dont stick well .
Problems with the tapes. Thanks for the info everyone.
Got the large version in yesterday(old style tapes), they seem to work fine, other than the fact that you may have a *little* trouble getting the tapes to stick well the first time(Softer landing zone is more porous, causing less surface area with contact to tapes? Dunno. Just a theory)
