It is almost Thanksgiving and I am thankful for a lot of things in my life. A lot of times people lose sight of the fact of what Thanksgiving is and what it is about. Don’t get me wrong – I love eating and gorging myself with food as much as the next person but I have found it important to step back and think about what you are thankful for this holiday season. Things can be ripped away a lot faster than they can be given to you and believe me – everyday that you have whatever it is that you have – is a good day. So, be thankful for what you have no matter how small or big it is. Here are some of the things I am thankful for this Thanksgiving:
1. Healthy: I exercise a lot of and try to stay healthy so it allows me to exercise and feel good about myself. Being healthy and not injured or sick – I am very thankful for because when I cannot exercise – it puts me in not so good of a mood. Not to mention the fact that there are millions if not billions of people in this world that are not healthy and all they want is to live to see the next day. So, I am appreciative of just at this moment of being healthy. Incontinence pales in comparison to things like broken bones, cancer, life altering illness, etc.
2. Diapers: Diapers I am always thankful for because they have changed and taken my life into so many directions that would have never occurred if it weren’t for them. I have met so many great people in the adult baby and diaper lover community in person and online and it has really helped my confidence level.
3. My Husband: He is so supportive and beyond amazing…I don’t know where I would be with out the love of my life.
4. Family: My family and I are very close and they have always supported me.
There are a lot of other things I am thankful for but it would require too big of a list. I am thankful for my followers of this blog that have supported me through my life. The ups and downs. I know my postings seem sporadic but honestly part of my private life affects this blog and that part I am not willing to divulge so my faithful followers will just have to trust me and stick with me. I love this blog and I do hope to see it flourish at a lot better level in the near future. Ah…life!.
Couldn’t help but notice you used the term husband.
Congrats on your marriage. Thanks for remembering that there are those suffering.
Well, I’m certainly thankful for your blog, and hope to see more of it soon!
You do a good job presenting a “no big deal” approach to something that’s usually either highly fetishized or deeply reviled, and I think that kind of mainstreaming is good for everyone, whether diapers are a part of their life or not.
Keep it up!
